I will try out the recipe thats they used on the YouTube, to get a feel of mp and if i dont like it i will try out hp. Then i might try it with 100% Coconut oil and add coconut milk at trace with 20% super fat. Commercial melt and pour bases often have detergents added that help give them great lather, so one idea to consider is to add something like SLSA to the recipe. Use a scale to measure the oils, butters, wax, lye , water, and glycerin. Don’t use measuring cups when making soap.
Wait 30 minutes, then cover the mold with plastic wrap and allow the soap to set for 24 hours to harden. Again, spray the surface of the base with alcohol to remove any bubbles on the surface. It’s still a common myth that glycerin soap is milder and better for you. That can be true in some cases, but when you hand-craft a good cold process bar of soap, it contains just about as much glycerin. Use a silicone mold which can be purchased online or at any craft or kitchen supplies store. They come in various shapes and sizes, from basic square or rectangle ones to more festive shapes such as stars or hearts.
